Being Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repairing gas meters. Ensuring that all meters are functioning correctly and accurately and for troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Which requires a strong understanding of Meter technology, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service. While being out in the Field as a Meter technician I had to be comfortable working in various weather conditions also environments, including residential, commerical and industrial settings while committing to follow all safety protocols and procedures. The ability to keep detailed records and documentation. Regularly participating in ongoing professional development and training meetings to meet excellent expectations for the service of the job.

• In a timely manner labeling and identifying public utility mains, Such as Natural gas, electric, phone, CATV/cable, water lines, and fiber optic cable located underground for and assigned areas to prevent damage during construction or maintenance activities. Coordinating between utility owners and contractor on utility locations. Precise documentation markings on projects. Photographed utility sites and marked lines with paint and flags for identification by excavating personnel. Providing excellent customer service. Communicating with customers and and Team members, While adhering to company policies and procedures, Also demonstrated adaptability by successfully completing assignments under various weather conditions and terrain challenges.
