Infusion Nurse. Opened the new infusion center at NGMC Barrow Campus in January 2024, with growth now at 10-13 patients per day. In our infusion center, we can see patients with a variety of needs, such as transfusion of blood products, antibiotics, injections, IV fluids, IVIG, Electrolyte replacement, and Iron. We typcially see 10-13 patients per day Monday - Friday, with limited hours on Saturday and Sunday 7-12. I can access PORTs, start IVs, communicate with doctors, pharmacy, and lab for clarification of orders and critical lab results, and we provide excellent patient care including not just their infusion treatment, but ordering lunch and providing warmed blankets for comfort. Proficient in EPIC charting system, received Daisy nomination 2025, Received NGMC Barrow Campus Nurse of the Year award 2025, BLS current until March 2027.
