• Assist the doctor in correction of the teeth and jaw alignment
• Placement and Removal of brackets, bands, appliances
• Complete short, long, regular adjustments including replacing wires, adding brackets or bands, fitting bands, cinching wires, placing power chains and single ties
• Sterilization including tray set up, ultrasonic cleansing, cold sterile, sanitizing work station, sterilizing instruments
• Taking Alginate impressions, Photos, X-rays, and 3D Scan
• Patient Education and Oral Hygiene

• Taking initial, progress, and final records. Including Pan, Ceph, intraoral photos, and 3D scan.
• Bonding/Debonding brackets, placing wires, elastics, o-ties
• Placement/Removal of bands
• Knowledge of malocclusion, ortho terminology, instruments, orthodontic procedures
• Teaching patients proper oral hygiene and patient education
• Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
