• Acted in a team lead capacity, which included assisting peers (CSR’s) in resolving survivor related questions and/or any submission related issues with our electronic loan application system.

• Assisted 400+disaster survivors and small business owners while deployed, providing program guidance on eligibility, documentation, and submission requirements.

•Responsible for daily reports, time management of peers, scheduling, and communicating center activity to FOCE staff and management. This included resolving any escalated loan cases and communicating any outcomes or pertinent information related to those cases to management.

•Assisted in training, supervising, and mentoring newly deployed staff regarding operational procedures, field expectations, and customer engagement. (Prior to deployment and while actively deployed)

•Worked with FEMA staff directly to ensure center efficiency, and to up-channel center emergency related information to management team.

• Served as center POC and ground resource for policy clarification and policy guidance to field staff. Served as POC for centers and POC for SBA ground operations for other local and state emergency management personnel.

• Monitored intake workflow and adjusted staffing levels as appropriate to accommodate applicant volume, which effectively reduced applicant wait times.

• Interpreted disaster loan policies to address discrepancies, including income verification, collateral related documentation, and credit related concerns.

•Collaborated with FEMA representatives, emergency management agencies, and community partners to streamline survivor assistance.

•Scheduled all travel to and from declaration disaster site(s) for deployed staff and scheduled PIV activations and recertifications.

•Maintained all field operation staff rosters, and roster for all active and non-active center sites.

• Set up, staffed, and closed out all loan disaster related center locations. (DRC's,BRC's, mobile sites)

•Participated in operational briefings and provided status updates to leadership regarding application volume, staffing levels or needs for new centers, and field challenges.

•Assisted Public Affairs Staff at disaster related seminars and events.

•Conducted Community Outreach calls that informed, educated, and assisted small businesses with submission issues related to their applications, that may have resulted in a withdrawal.
