- Job Overview: Installation of OEM textile machinery is the main objective of my position. This includes creating layout for machinery & assembly. Performing service calls on existing equipment with various customers is another major part of my position. Automation and controls troubleshooting and problem solving ability with mechanical & electrical systems to include:Rigging, pulling, and terminating cables, test and verify correct electrical and mechanical installation, and positioning of electrical equipment and components. I have ability to adhere to ALL safety protocols required by customers. I am expected to work alone and as part of a team. Follow-up work on emerging equipment from R&D team to give feedback and support on incorporating equipment to production environment is an integral part of my job.
- Customer interaction: As a Senior Technician, customer service is a big component of my job and experience. I have become superb with face to face communications with customers. I have an outstanding ability to connect with customers on a very comfortable level for ease of introduction to new equipment.
