I have worked many different jobs over the years, most have been in the industrial field. I enjoy helping people no matter what situation they are in, and using this job to be able to plan ahead and prevent employees from being injured is something I look forward to. I will put everything I have into this job to be sure everything is done correctly, my goal will be zero injuries for as long as I am in this role. My years at the fire department has put me in the best spot for this job because i am calm in emergency situations and have learned to rely on my training. Also it has prepared me for this job because I am always paying attention to what is going on around me which will help me see something dangerous before it happens. With this job trust and leadership is key strengths that I have developed. With my maintenance career I have learned how to fix things and come up with ideas to prevent employees from getting hurt.
When machines are not operating correctly and production is stopped, I troubleshoot the issue and figure out what is going on so I can fix it and give the machine back to production. I also do preventative maintenance whenever a machine goes down due to not having an operator trying to prevent any major problems that will cause downtime. Also, I work closely with the safety team to be sure employees can operate the machines safely.
I was the lead for the department and would be sure the items that needed to be shipped from the plant, and items coming into the plant were distributed to the right places. I would assume supervisor roles anytime he was out, do the time for our department employees, go to safety and production meetings to be sure our department was in line with what was going on.
I would repair machines when something happens so the plant would continue to make production, I would also perform preventative maintenance so that problems could be caught prior to something happening to the machine. I also worked closely with the safety department so that we kept all the machines safe to operate for employees.
Help the head coach develop the players in hopes of winning the tournament at the end of the year. I would work with the girls hitting, fielding, and prep the field before practice and games.
I would search through x-ray film to find any discrepancies before parts shipped out. I would also go through parts when they come back, find any discrepancies and sort the type of metal to be sure all the metal would be melted down correctly and distributed to the right departments. The goals I achieved in this job were never having bad parts, ending up on an airplane that came from our facility.
