  • Directed operations at all FLETC domestic training delivery points, and all international posts.
  • Led all operational and administrative functions related to training over 70,000 federal, state, and local law enforcement officers and agents annually.
  • Led all collaboration between FLETC and over 120 federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Served on the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Deputies Management Action Group, which established policy and budgets across all DHS agencies.
  • Served on the DHS Security Appeals Board, which made all final decisions on clearance adjudications for all DHS employees.
  • Led the development and implementation of numerous new national law enforcement training programs, including use of force operators and use of force instructor training programs, human trafficking awareness and instructor training programs, and several other tactical, investigative, and supervisory training programs. All of which received congressional funding appropriations.
  • Led FLETC through several critical incidents, including Hurricane Matthew, Hurricane Irma, and several other incidents at FLETC's four domestic locations.
  • Developed and implemented strategic plans, performance measures, and execution review processes to improve efficiencies, effectiveness, and accountability.
  • Created a Business Analysis Office to make business process improvements, improve project management operations, and establish workflows that led to greater effectiveness and accountability through all FLETC lines of business.
  • Led all FLETC continuity of operations, DHS devolution, and incident management operations.
  • Revamped and improved the FLETC Leadership Institute and programs to internationally renowned status.
  • Developed and implemented an internationally recognized operational plan during the COVID epidemic that allowed FLETC to continue its training mission to meet the demands of all law enforcement agencies. The FLETC plan was used as a model by law enforcement academies, colleges, and other operations around the world, and it received numerous awards.

  • Developed and implemented a tactical training program that was delivered to over 5,000 deputies and Task Force Officers over a 3-year period. This training program was the result of nine line-of-duty deaths by the USMS and task force agencies nationwide in 2011.
  • Led all efforts to improve operational equipment for the agency to include firearms, less-than-lethal devices, ballistic armor, and protective shields.
  • Led all efforts to obtain academy and program national accreditation for the first time in USMS history.
  • Developed and implemented LearnUSMS, a national electronic learning management system for all USMS personnel.

  • Numerous positions throughout my career with USMS include Interim United States Marshal, Chief Deputy, Commander, Supervisory Deputy, Inspector, and Deputy.
  • Led all operational and administrative mission areas in the District of Massachusetts, the District of Oregon, the Western District of Virginia, and the District of Rhode Island.
  • Served as Commander of Operation FALCON 2008, which resulted in the arrest of over 19,000 violent offenders, of whom 161 were wanted for murder, over 1,000 sex offenders, 388 gang members, and numerous other violent offenses nationwide.
  • Served in numerous other capacities, including Chairman of the Chief Investigative Advisory Board, agency proposing official, Financial Services and Business Improvement Advisory Board member, and the Fugitive Apprehension Risk Mitigation Advisory Team.
  • Served as the lead inspector for the White House's detail to the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
  • Served as a Witness Security Inspector for the Witness Security Program.
  • Oversaw all judicial and facility security efforts in several districts nationwide.
