Work History

Maintenance Technician

FedEx
03.2022 - 03.2025
  • As a maintenance technician at FedEx, I do both electrical and mechanical tasks. Those tasks are from anything such as replacing conveyor belts, motors, rollers, VFDs and relays in panels. My title also involves fabrication. Whether it’s to fix metal work that has been damaged or even fabricating things to make jobs easier. Welding and fabrication were a huge factor into my job at FedEx. I have received 2 “Bravo Zulu” awards during my time at FedEx, for fabricating projects to make some tasks easier in the field.
  • Another big part of my role during my time at FedEx was preventative maintenance. In doing so, actions would be anywhere from simply adjusting sensors and greasing fittings to properly aligning conveyors. My average routine would be to go through the basics of everything, and if parts needed to be replaced and could be done in downtime ahead of dodging a major downtime, I would schedule a time to do so working with operations and maintenance managers. This would also mean that I would need to create work orders following any work that may have been done during my PM work. Maximo was used in doing so. After 2 years of PM work and having to create and complete work orders I became fairly proficient familiar with the procedure of creating work orders and navigating the correct way to complete them and the physical work during PMs.

CNC Operator/Machinist

DANIEL DEFENSE
10.2021 - 03.2022
  • At Daniel Defense, I worked as a CNC machinist. That required me to learn tolerances of the parts i made and to stay within those tolerances at all times. Adjusting the machine coordinates and changing tools in machine regularly played a huge role in my position to do the job correctly.

Electrician

Ark Plumbing
12.2020 - 10.2021
  • I worked as a residential electrician providing thing service calls and installations for everything residential.

Electrical Apprentice

CS Hurd/EOM Industrial
02.2019 - 12.2020
  • At CS Hurd, I took what I already learned prior and advanced my knowledge. I began installing panels and services from beginning to end. I also got further into commercial work wiring up apartment buildings and hotels downtown savannah. Shortly after, I transitioned to EOM (Hurd's sister company for industrial.) With EOM, we worked at sand mines, Georgia Pacific, Phillips 66 and more. This gave me a good comfortable feel with industrial work and the safety precautions necessary.

Electrical Apprentice

BRADDY ELECTRIC
05.2018 - 02.2019
  • At Braddy electric, I started my journey after graduating high school. I learned basic things in electrical anywhere from changing receptacles, to running conduit and pulling wire.
