I currently serve as a Section Leader in an Armored Reconnaissance Squadron within the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort. Stewart, GA. I am responsible for building and maintaining a professional, highly trained, cohesive reconnaissance team. In addition to that, I am also responsible for the health, welfare, development and training of two Non-Commissioned Officers and five Junior enlisted Soldiers.


Serving in this position, I am solely responsible for the accountability, maintenance, and tactical deployment of three M2A4 Cavalry Fighting Vehicles. It's related equipment, weapons, sensors, communications equipment and optics valued in excess of $5,000,000.


As a reconnaissance expert, I am a master of mounted maneuver, and dismounted land navigation patrols using the FBCB2 (future battle command brigade and below). Some of my other duties include serving as a member of an LP/OP (listening/observation post) while employing principles of cover and concealment.


As a United States Army Cavalry Scout, it is my job to gather information on the size, activity, location, unit, time, and equipment of the enemy (SALUTE Report). And to collect and report data for route classifications, fords tunnels, and bridges. Utilizing all the prior data analyzed to request, adjust, and execute indirect fires.


As a weapons systems expert, I am responsible for the implementation of and maintaining the 25MM, .50 caliber, M240B, M249 machine guns, MK-19 grenade launcher, M16A4/M4 rifle, M17 9mm Pistol, AT-4, and shotguns. Also, anti-armor weapons such as the Javelin and TOW, and (SINCGARS) digital radio communications equipment.

Security Shift Supervisor

While in this position I worked as a Security Shift Supervisor for Shire Pharmaceuticals, a $2 Billion-Dollar, 1 Million s/f pharmaceutical plant in Social Circle, Georgia. I ran a shift of 8 security officers, and ensured the safety of approximately 1200+ Shire employees and 700+ contractors daily. I was entrusted with guarding the client's assets. I chose to do this through an extremely professional, and customer service based approach.

Providing counseling, guidance and support to security personnel.
Writing and reviewing security officer reports and logs.
Operating CCTV cameras. (State of the Art Honeywell (EBI) System.

Completing incidents reports, and reviewed complaints.
Ensuring the safety and security of guests and 1200+ employees. 700+ Contractors.

Made work orders for any sitewide repairs (CBRE)
Professionally handling all sensitive and confidential information.
Assisted in the escorting of terminated employees from a building.
Generated hundreds of personnel reports.
Interacted directly with Corporate, Shire HR, Site Managers, EH&S Personnel, ERT Teams via Email on a daily basis.
