FERNANDO C. CADAYONA JR.

I’m a dedicated educator, Literature and Composition Team Lead, and certified ESOL teacher specialist with a true passion for helping students succeed. Over the years, I’ve worked with many different groups of learners, creating welcoming and energetic classrooms where every student feels excited to learn. I specialize in teaching reading, writing, and language skills, using hands-on activities and clear support to meet students where they are. Beyond the classroom, I’m also the author of two books published on Amazon. I strongly believe that building trust and strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow teachers is the heart of great teaching. Whether I’m guiding my department, tweaking a lesson, or working directly with students, my goal is always to inspire growth, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.

• Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), in partnership with Data Recognition Corporation (DRC), conducted Rangefinding for English Language Arts to support the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (State Testing), and Rangefinding, educators reviewed sets of student responses from the recent ELA Interpreting & Constructing pilot test and reviewed rubric effectiveness in February 2025.

• Winning Coach for AWMS Athletics, during the Soccer Spring Athletics Meet in South Georgia, United States of America.
• Participated in the different Teaching Reading and Writing Training held at Wayne County Board of Education, State of Georgia during the academic years 2022-2023, 2023-2024.
• Winning coach RSPC Held at Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines and Champion for Collaborative Desktop Publishing, Editorial Writing, and News Writing Contest.
• Seminar Workshop on Test Construction of the New Learning Assessment in K-12 Program, at Special Program in Arts Building -Bais City, Philippines.
• First Regional Journalism Training and Seminar Workshop at Nature’s Village Resort, Talisay City, Negros Occidental Philippines, on realizing the success of Campus Journalism pursuant to R.A. 7079, also known as the Journalism Act of 1991.
