  • Supervised an Urban League Summer Youth Academy, organized all the components of the program from matching instructors to specific locations to making sure students had transportation to get to the various locations
  • The program exposed 85 youth, ages 14 through 24 to the many facets of fine arts using volunteers teachers in several sites across the city of Columbus
  • In conjunction with this program Organized a six weeks Investment Seminar for Seniors Program for Seniors in the Columbus area
  • Students met for six week every Saturday to learn about investments
  • Several local companies were involved AFLAC and Edward Jones
  • Each student received a share of Coke Cola stock for their involvement and participation; it was a rewarding experience for all involved

  • The military also provided soldiers shared their many talents with our children
  • Chaired several cultural programs to include Native American Month, Black History Month, Asian /Pacific Islanders Month and Soldiers Breakfast

  • Gained knowledge and understanding working with people of all races, working on a military base you come in contact with all the races of the world
